Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Al Madar International Schools, and in the presence of Ms. Hayat Al-Muhairat, Principal of Al Madar International Schools, along with the administrative and academic staff, parents, students, families, and honored guests, the fifth cohort of Tawjihi students for the 2024–2025 academic year was officially graduated on 27–7–2025 at the Cultural Palace Theater.

Within the framework of strategic partnerships aimed at achieving sustainable development in the education sector, and in support of fostering academic excellence and creativity among students, a cooperation agreement was signed on Monday, July 7, 2025.

The agreement was concluded between the Jordanian Cultural Scientific Talents Association, represented by Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, Chairman of the Association and General Director of Al Madar International Schools, and the General Secretariat of Christian Educational Institutions in Jordan, represented by Reverend Dr. Ashraf Al-Nimri (Secretary General).

This agreement comes as part of the support and implementation of the sixth edition of the Jordanian Scientific Olympiad, and establishes a long-term institutional collaboration aimed at developing students’ capabilities and opening new horizons for scientific excellence and competitive advancement within a modern educational environment.

We welcomed the great Jordanian author Hazza' Dhamin Al-Barari to discuss his article about the cultural pioneer Rox Al-Uzaizi, which is featured in the 8th-grade Arabic language textbook.
The session also explored his literary and professional journey.

Al Madar International Schools, represented by its Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mohammed Abzakh, decided to support the World Table Tennis Championship (WTT) for age groups, which will be held at the Sports Palace Hall in Al Hussein Youth City from July 22 to 26. It is supervised by the International Table Tennis Federation and is one of the championships officially approved by the International Federation. This time it will witness a record participation of male and female players from different countries of the world.

The President of the Jordanian Table Tennis Federation, Tariq Al-Zoubi, praised the great role played by Al-Madar International Schools, expressing the thanks and appreciation of the Jordanian Federation family to all employees of Al-Madar International Schools, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Muhammad Abzakh.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Madar International Schools, Dr. Muhammad Abzakh, received the President of the Federation, Tariq Al-Zoubi, and the member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, Ayas Abzakh, where they discussed several matters related to the World Table Tennis Championship (WTT) for age groups.

The Jordanian Scientific and Cultural Talents Association: Honoring young stars at the 4th Scientific Olympiad Awards Ceremony

 

In representation of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Mr. Salah Al-Din Eid, Executive Director of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Projects Group, sponsored the ceremony organized by the Jordanian Cultural Scientific Talents Association at the Royal Cultural Center’s Conference Hall in Amman to honor the winners of the Fourth Scientific Olympiad.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, President of the Jordanian Scientific Talents Association and General Director of Al Madar International Schools, and was supported by CASIO Middle East & Africa.
CASIO was keen to honor the top winners by presenting them with scientific calculators that assist students in solving problems and verifying answers during their secondary education.

In his speech, Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, President of the Jordanian Scientific Talents Association, welcomed the esteemed guests and expressed appreciation for the distinguished scholars, as well as for Mr. Salah Al-Din Eid, representing Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh.

Al-Madar International Schools Host the First Jordanian Digital Challenge Competition with the Participation of More Than 400 Students

With the support and attendance of Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, General Director of Al-Madar International Schools,

Al-Madar International Schools launched the National Digital Challenge, an initiative created to reinforce the vision and mission of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, and the Ministry of Education—aiming to advance toward a knowledgeable, entrepreneurial, and innovative society across all fields.

This initiative comes as part of annual competitions and challenges centered around the theme “Technology and the Digital World.”

Students of Al-Madar International Schools achieved remarkable distinction in the Jordanian Digital Challenge, which saw the participation of more than 50 schools and 90 teams, all presenting exceptional ideas aligned with 21st-century sciences.

Regarding the event, Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, General Director of Al-Madar International Schools, stated:

“The students’ projects demonstrated their genuine efforts in directing their technical skills toward the future of artificial intelligence technologies. Their deep understanding of the capabilities offered by AI in addressing real-world challenges reflects their commitment to advancing knowledge boundaries and leading positive change through technology.”

Amman, June 15, 2023 — Under the Patronage of the Minister of Culture, Haifa Al-Najjar, the Jordanian Cultural Scientific Talent Association held the final awards ceremony of the Scientific Olympiad at the Royal Cultural Center’s Conference Hall in Amman.

In his speech, Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, President of the Jordanian Scientific Talent Association, welcomed H.E. Haifa Al-Najjar, Minister of Culture, affirming that she has always been a pioneer in creative and inspiring initiatives. He expressed his delight in organizing the Scientific Olympiad Awards Ceremony, stating:

“This ceremony reflects our firm commitment to supporting talented youth and promoting innovation and creativity within our society. We are proud of the support shown by the Minister of Culture for this important event, and we look forward to honoring young talents and encouraging them to continue their inspiring scientific and educational journey.”

Dr. Abzakh added that 3,000 students from across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—representing public schools, private schools, and UNRWA institutions—participated in this unique and distinguished competition. Through the first and second qualification rounds, around 250 students advanced to the final stage to compete in the Mathematics Olympiad, Physics Olympiad, and Chemistry Olympiad.

He emphasized:

“Today, we are proud to crown these winners. Participating in such a profound and enriching experience will leave a lasting mark in each student’s life. The first, second, and third place winners earned the highest scores through the qualification rounds. With God’s will, we will strive to support these students in participating in next year’s International Science Olympiad in Mathematics.”

He also noted the Association's commitment to engaging as many sixth- and eighth-grade students as possible next year, to strengthen their experience in such competitions.

This celebratory event honored the young talents who excelled in the final stage of the Scientific Olympiad. The competition brought together some of the brightest students from all regions of the Kingdom. It was initially held at Al-Madar International Schools on May 20, 2023, where students successfully completed a series of stimulating scientific challenges.

Participants who advanced to the final stages were selected based on their creativity, scientific abilities, and outstanding performance in a variety of tasks and assessments designed to test intelligence, critical thinking, and innovation.

The Jordanian Cultural Scientific Talent Association serves as a vital platform for nurturing excellence and innovation within Jordanian society. The Association provides support and encouragement to gifted youth, helping them develop their scientific and cultural skills. It also fosters collaboration among students, teachers, and academics across the country, organizing educational and cultural events that promote personal and professional growth for talented youth.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, H.E. the Minister of Culture honored the young winners in fields including Natural Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Association awarded certificates of recognition and appreciation to the winners, along with special awards for distinguished participants.

**As Part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s Independence Day Celebrations,

Al-Madar International Schools Organize a Hashemite Walk in Support of Cancer Patients**

On Thursday evening, May 25, 2023, Al-Madar International Schools organized a Hashemite Solidarity Walk in support of cancer patients, under the patronage of Dr. Mohammad Abzakh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Madar International Schools.

Dr. Mohammad Abzakh stated that the significance of the walk lies in self-challenge and adopting a healthy lifestyle, noting that this is the most important step toward preventing cancer and reducing its risks—a journey that begins with physical activity.

He added that the walk, which included members of the teaching staff and a group of students from Al-Madar International Schools, was held in support of the campaign launched by the King Hussein Cancer Center on the occasion of World Cancer Day.

Dr. Abzakh emphasized that the event strengthens the spirit of cooperation, promotes humanitarian and ethical values among students, and builds a culture rooted in awareness.

The walk included the distribution of awareness brochures about different types of cancer, proper practices for interacting with patients, and inspirational success stories of survivors.

The walk started from Stadium Legend and concluded at the main field of Al-Madar International Schools in the Al-Dhahir area, where a variety of activities took place, including:

  • Dabkeh performances

  • Songs and traditional chants

  • Theatrical shows featuring cartoon characters and clown performances

  • Competitions with prizes and gifts for cancer patients

  • Honoring the event sponsors with commemorative plaques

The celebration also featured:

  • A variety of open-air bazaars in the school’s front courtyard

  • A visit to the horse stables adjacent to the school playground

  • A free medical day held at Building No. 2 of Al-Madar International Schools

Al-Madar International Schools organized the Hashemite Walk in Support of Cancer Patients, held as part of the national celebrations of the 76th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The event took place on Friday, May 27, 2022, starting from the Amman International Motor Show grounds and continuing all the way to Al-Madar International Schools.

Al-Madar International Schools Hosted the Final Stage of the Jordanian Scientific Olympiad

Al-Madar International Schools hosted the final stage of the Jordanian Scientific Olympiad, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Higher Committee of the Jordanian Scientific Olympiad, and the Jordanian Cultural Scientific Talent Association.

The Higher Committee of the Olympiad supervised the examinations and provided training throughout the competition.
The Olympiad consisted of three stages:

  1. School Level

  2. District Level

  3. Governorate Level,
    leading up to the final national stage, in which students from 12 governorates participated, representing public schools, UNRWA schools, and private schools.

We extend our best wishes of success and excellence to all our students across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The final results will be announced during the closing ceremony on
June 2, 2022, at the Conference Hall in the Sports City.
